Just the 3 of us!

Well, life has returned to 'normal' and it is just the 3 of us again. The guests are gone, and the house is quiet. Justin went to daycare today (it was his first time). Mary said that he did great! I was happy that he was such a good boy for her. I have to admit, I got a little teary-eyed, but I knew he would be fine and I was okay once I got to work.

Justin will be 4 months old on June 1st! We can't believe it. He is cooing so much more, holding things in his hands, and trying to put everything in his mouth. Simply put, we are enjoying being his parents so much. It is so fun watching him grow and change every week! 4 mo. here we come!!

Please Comment!

Dear family and friends,

My mommy said that she is noticing that no one is leaving comments. Do they not think I am cute and worth of commenting on? Do they not know how? We just aren't' sure. My mommy gets sad when she looks at the blog and there is nothing there...;(.

Happy Boy!!

Today is the day that mommy and daddy have to take Aunt Jill and Cousin Kelsey to the airport. I will miss them so much. My mommy had her usual breakdown last night. The one she has whenever family is leaving. She only cried for an hour-and then she was fine. I told her that it would be ok, that we will see them again very soon. She is really hard to comfort!! -Justin

I hope that everyone has a great day!!!

All smiles for aunt Jill today!

I was happy this morning because mommy put a very cute outfit on me and everyone thought I was even cuter than usual! These people dote over me day and night. I really feel bad for the dog, but it looks like he gets adequate attention. I am getting bigger every day and I am such a good boy-they all say it. I hear them talking about how I really never whine or cry. They're right, life is pretty good here-why would I need to cry all the time? Do some little people do that? I think that's what mommy says, that there are some very unhappy little people. Maybe they don't get rice in their bottles? I am just not sure. I hope everyone has a great memorial day tomorrow and that you have all enjoyed your 3 day weekend! I sure had a blast in Loveland and Estes Park yesterday with Aunt Jill, cousin Kels, daddy, mommy, grandma, and grandpa.

Gramma loves to talk to me all day long...

I take these pictures as a clear indication that Justin will be just like his daddy and love to play poker! I have been failing in blogging ever since I went back to work. I just keep trying to remind myself to get on here and get posting! I haven't been taking too many pics either, but don't worry, Justin said he wanted to try rice cereal for the first time today so there will be plenty pictures of this momentous occasion!

We have family in town this weekend, Jan and Monte from Olympia Washington are here to visit us. Jan is my mom's cousin and the two of them have always been like sisters. We'll call her aunt Jan! Mom, Jan, Monte, and I went to Estes Park, Colorado yesterday and explored all the wonderful little shops around town. I have never seen so many candy shops in one place! Good thing that there were so mom could stock up on her Carmel apples. She buys in bulk. We had a great day, but were missing Aaron and Justin. I think the long day would have been difficult for the little guy, and since Aaron was staying home to dig our egress window, we thought that Justin may as well just stay with dad! It's been a great weekend, and it's not yet over. Jan is still going to make my favorite salad for dinner!! Thanks for coming to visit us!!

Well, Justin has started teething. This has already been going on a few weeks, but tonight is an especially bad night. As we speak Aaron is walking him and he is screaming at the top of his little man lungs. I am taking over in 10 minutes to put him to bed. We'll see how that goes. It's usually not this bad at all. He's just having a rough night. Poor little guy...that must really hurt!

On a lighter note, here are some happier pictures of our little Jussy! All is well here in Cheyenne. Mom is still here and will be until Memorial Day weekend. I am sure she is sick of us, but she is a great sport. Ok, so I am cutting this blog short because the screaming is out of control and I am going to see if he just needs a litte change of scenery...MOMMY!

My little bear!!

Here is a picture of Justin right before we took a walk today. It was a little cold out so we figured that we would put on his little bear suit that he has not had a chance to wear yet. Justin loves walks as long as he can see facing forward. He loves his baby bjorn carrier. I love that he loves it! Justin got lots of love from gramma and grampa today. Grampa makes some pretty funny sounds that make Justin smile =) They make me laugh cause he looks funny while he does them....

Until next time! Have a good week everyone!!!

Enjoying the weekend with Gramma and Grampa Weaver

Justin loves the baby in the mirror. He smiles at him all the time and they are such good friends!

Last night daddy, Justin and I played Wii bowling. Even though they had the advantage with 2 players, they still couldn't beat the reigning champ (me)!!

Relaxing on the weekend!

Finally, the weekend is here! I've been playing catch up at work since I have been back, and it feels good to have gotten some things done! Mom had a good first week at home with Justin and I think they are getting into a routine. Dad is actually on his way here today for a conference and to see all us. We don't really have too much planned, but it will be nice just to spend some time together.

Justin is growing like a weed. He has really discovered his hands and it's pretty cute. Everything he does is cute and we love to dote over him. He was three months yesterday. I can't believe it has been that long since the day I was in labor! He is so perfect and his daddy and I love to watch him learn and discover new things. It is amazing. He is a very loved boy and I look forward to each passing month and the new things he will do. It is true what they say about being new parents...it's not always easy, but it is always worth it!!!

We are hoping to plan a trip to Montana in August. We will probably go straight to Conrad and then Lake 5 like we did last year. We still need to figure out the details, but we can go whenever because Aaron opted not to teach summer school this year. It's probably for the best since he is finishing the basement, watching Justin, playing softball, and doubling up on his Masters classes. He's ambitious!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will try to get some good pics over the weekend so I can post them next week!

Love,
Aaron, Shaye, Justin & Wrigley

Aaron and I met while attending college @ Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. We got married in 2006 after dating for a few years. In 2007, we moved to Cheyenne because I was offered a great job with the state. We bought a house in August of 2008, and we just welcomed our first baby on Feb 1st of 2009! What a whirlwind it has been...
