Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I sat down to write something more than a few sentences on here. I was able to sneak away from work today a bit early, so I thought I would take some time to catch everyone up.

Justin will be 9 mo. old in just a couple of days! He is crawling EVERYWHERE, and standing on his own (for very short periods of time). He will hold on to any surface he can, and walk around that way. He is extremely curious and wants to get into everything. He is not into cuddling with mommy or daddy unless he doesn't feel good, and he doesn't want to he held much because he is simply too busy! In regards to Justin's sleep habits, we are going through a bit of a 'rough patch'. I hope he will get on a better schedule soon, but until then I try to get a nap here and there when possible, and we all just carry on.

Aaron's parents were here a few weeks ago and Aaron and his dad got a lot accomplished in the basement! It is really coming along and we will be getting our carpet in very soon. I think we will all be glad to have the basement done. Aaron says that he will be glad, but I think he will miss working on a project. Justin and I will be very happy that we will have more time with daddy on the weekends. We will have more freedom to do things as a family. I am so excited to have the extra space and carpet. As many of you know, we have wood flooring throughout the upstairs. It is beautiful, but I would rather have some carpet....and I will very soon!! Carpet is nice for Justin, so I am hoping that we will be spending a lot of time playing downstairs. He will have much more room to roam. Im going to really enjoy our basement, because in another few years it will be on to the next house to finish another basement. However, in the next home, I WILL have a more open and roomy living room upstairs!

My parents will be here tomorrow, on Halloween, for a 3 day visit. We are looking forward to it. We don't have any big plans, but just want to spend time together. I think it will just be a relaxing weekend! Justin is going to be a Bumble Bee, and I think I will take him around the block just to show off his costume. It's pretty darn cute! We are going to pass out candy for a few hours (or until we run out) , turn the porch light off, and maybe watch a scary movie? Wrigley will drive me crazy as usual, and bark constantly throughout the night because of all the kids running around the neighborhood. Should be fun!

Aaron's job is going great and he is having parent teacher conferences today. He really loves being a teacher. It makes him so happy, and he has so much enthusiasm. He is lucky to work with some great people who he gets along with so well. We still feel so lucky that he was able to get into this district. My job is...going. I'm not going to say that it is great, but that's just because I had a very long week and sometimes you are very overwhelmed and need a weekend to recover. Yup, that's where I am at! I work with some great people, and am very thankful for that. I really think I might be more positive if I could get about 2 nights of good, solid sleep.

We will be heading home for Christmas this year. We will be in Conrad first, from the 19th to the 23rd. We will then drive down to Helena and spend Christmas Eve and Christmas with my family. I always look forward to going home, but I hate dealing with bad weather and closed roads. I look forward to a time when we can stay in Cheyenne for Christmas and possibly have our families come down here. Even if it is just every 3 or 4 years, it would be nice to start our own traditions. I guess we'll see.

Well, that's all I have for now. I am going to go get a few things done before I have to pick up Justin at daycare. I hope everyone has a good weekend and a fun Halloween!!!

Aaron and I met while attending college @ Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. We got married in 2006 after dating for a few years. In 2007, we moved to Cheyenne because I was offered a great job with the state. We bought a house in August of 2008, and we just welcomed our first baby on Feb 1st of 2009! What a whirlwind it has been...
